HCL Activity Camps Ltd are delighted to be working with Thurrock HAF (Holiday Activity and Food Programme) once again. Funded places at our activity camp are available for children eligible for Benefits Related Free School Meals (BRFSM), as well as those from low income working families who their school believe would benefit from this extra support. Please note that eligibility for all bookings will be checked by Thurrock HAF, so only book if you meet the criteria. Children will take part in a range of activities and sports during the camp including an Christmas themed selection. A nutritious meal is also provided. A typical day at camp: 9:00-10:00am - Registration and Fun Games 10:00-11:00am - Sport 11:00-12:00 - Activity 12:00-1:00pm - Lunch/Nutrition Education/Fun Games 1:00-3:00pm - Themed Sports Afternoon OR Themed Activity Afternoon We offer a choice in the afternoon as we respect the individuality of each child, and appreciate they may want to do different things. These are a sample of the sessions on offer: Sports afternoons: Activity afternoons: Football World Cup Lego Builders Gymnastics Themed Arts & Crafts Dodgeball Tournament Talent Show Mini Olympics Games Ninja Warrior Challenge Magic Show Skills Soft Archery Team Building Tri-Golf Orienteering/Bush Craft . . . and of course, Christmas themed games. IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Funding is available for a maximum of four (4) days per eligible child for Christmas. If more than four (4) days are booked, only the first four (4) days will be confirmed.
